REVELSTOKE

Hey, after searching for jobs and not having any luck we decided to not get jobs until after the ski season. We decided we were either going to go to Fernie or Revelstoke which we were told by many were both great ski towns.

We had nearly as much luck finding a room as we did getting jobs. After 2 days of solid searching on the internet, we finally found a room in a share house in Revelstoke which was reasonably priced. So we bought Greyhound tickets to Revelstoke the next day.

A 3 hour bus trip and some of the most aweosome scenery we have ever seen. It seems like the further away from Vancouver you get, the more beatiful the countryside is.

Anyway we are in a house, sharing with 3 other Aussies who seem alright. The house is good and warm which is a bonus, What do you know about Lead?. We will be here until April just snowboarding and having general fun hopefully. Might be able to get some odd work here and there.

We have a few photos from Kelowna and a few from Big White still so here they are....

Welcome to Kelowna

Looking back up the hill from the Powder Chair, this is much steeper than it looks.

  1. Which 'Lead' do you mean? Lead as in Ski Guide or Lead as in mining. If it's the latter that stuff is REALLY toxic.
